    Hi Kris,

Great website. I’ve just read your article on drinking lemon water every morning. I’ve always had honey and lemon in hot water when I’ve had a cold and it’s worked a treat but I’ve never thought of using lemon as a prevention from illness. I’ll give it a go and see what happens. Keep up the great blogging.

Hi Kris, thanks for the great advice about drinking lemon water…it’s actually amazing lemon can do so much goodness for your health. I tend to slice a lemon to use for cooking and, never really eat it, often waste the rest of it. I shall definitely try drinking a warm lemon water before the breakfast every day. Is it ok to add some sweetener (a bit of sugar)?

That’s a tricky one Ray. I have been known to add a quarter teaspoon of sugar to my lemon water but sometimes it depends on the lemons. If you have really fresh lemons, they don’t seem to taste as bad. Also, when the water is warm, it goes down easier.

I would advise to try it really super diluted and warmer first to see if you can manage it without the sugar first!

Good luck with that and let me know what you think!

      Cheers, Kris

    Hi Kris,
I never knew there were so many benefits to drinking lemon water. I add lemon to my water once in a while because I’ve known that it has health benefits, but I never looked into exactly what they… until now!
If someone has small calcium deposits under the surface of their skin, do you think lemon water could help with that?
It looks like I need to get in the habit of drinking warm lemon water in the mornings!
    All the best,
    Candace

Hi Candace, thank you for your comments.

Because lemon water is effective in dissolving calcium deposits in your body such as your gall bladder or kidneys, this effect should combine with the vitamin C content which is good for your skin and have a positive outcome for subcutaneous skin calcium. Try it for a month and let me know if you get results!

Please do not hesitate to see your doctor or dermatologist for any sort of strange skin conditions though first.

      Good luck, Kris
